Materials Engineer, Quality Engineering
Position Summary
The position is a hands‑on Chemist position with an emphasis on electroless and electrolytic plating, formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints & adhesives, troubleshooting raw materials, interacting with suppliers, etc., all related to the production of electrically conductive materials.
Responsibilities- Provide hands‑on research and development in the area of electroless and electrolytic plating, formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints and adhesives.
- Troubleshoot raw materials.
- Provide hands‑on scientific and analytical approaches to product development.
- A degree in chemistry, polymer science or materials technology is necessary.
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred, especially in the areas of plating or polymer formulation.
- Eligibility to work on non‑exportable technologies; candidate must be a U.S. citizen or hold required credentials.
- Ability to provide hands‑on technical leadership with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work as a team member in a production environment.
- Ability to be self‑managing and task focused.
- Highly motivated and results oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, suppliers and customers.
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
Pay, Benefits, Work ScheduleCompetitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $87,050 to $145,250 annually
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
