As a Wiring Tech you will:
- Assemble wire harnesses and electrical assemblies by connecting wires to components, plugs, or terminal strips, following complex wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
- Bundle and label cables to ensure organized harnesses that meet industry standards.
- Select wires based on specified color, markings, and length.
- Operate crimping tools and other equipment to secure connections.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Verify wiring accuracy and integrity using testers; identify and remove defective components.
- Ensure compliance with technical regulations, local, and national electrical codes.
- Demonstrate strong diagram interpretation skills and familiarity with electrical components in a production environment.
- Construct wire harnesses and assemblies with precision and attention to detail.
This is a Full time opportunity.
QualificationsThe ideal Wiring Tech will have:
- Wiring Experience
- Able to read Diagrams/Schematics
- Comfortable reading a tap measure
- Has experience utilizing hand tools
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Pay Rate: $21/hr.
