Position: Yard and Duty Assistant - 2 hrs/day (Eastside)

Yard and Duty Assistant – 2 hrs/day (Eastside) Position Summary

Monitors cafeteria, playground, drop‑off and pick‑up zones, and other school site environments to assure the safety and positive behaviors of students, predominantly in an elementary school setting.

Final date to receive applications: 1/16/2026

Work Year: 182 work days per year

Employee Type: Part‑time

Salary: $16.90 to $22.12 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience (new hire maximum of step 5).

Location: WPCS – Eastside

Hours: 2 hours per day; 5 days per week

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and employee life insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (full district contribution for 6+ hours per day; 50% contribution for 4‑5.99 hours per day).

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and experience working with children, which may be concurrent with education.

May require a valid driver’s license.
