Finance Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a thriving, family-owned business. This position has the option to work 2 days per week from home.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the business, delivering timely financial reporting, supporting budgeting and financial planning, providing valuable commercial insight, and ensuring finance processes run smoothly and efficiently. Experience using Net Suite is desirable but not essential.

• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with other areas in the business such as procurement regarding budgets
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Manage petty cash, expense claims, and corporate credit card reconciliations
• Support payroll processing and review payroll-related entries when required
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and cost centre P&L
• Support budget preparation, monitoring variances and highlighting issues to management
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
• Respond to finance queries

• Strong experience using Net Suite within a finance environment would be beneficial
• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience with in retail or product-based environments is beneficial but not essential
