About the Role

As a Production Planner, you'll be at the heart of production performance, ensuring factory-wide throughput and workflow are optimised across all sections. This is a varied, fast‑paced position where analytical thinking meets hands‑on teamwork — ideal for someone who thrives on continuous improvement and enjoys influencing performance at every level.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Planning and monitoring daily production performance across the factory.
  • Tracking key performance metrics (KPIs) and implementing improvement measures.
  • Collaborating closely with production teams to ensure quality standards and output targets are achieved.
  • Conducting performance reviews and updating skills matrices based on real‑time data.
  • Supporting management with accurate, timely performance reporting and insights.
  • Engaging, motivating, and developing team members to drive continuous success.
About You

We're looking for a dependable and proactive professional with a keen eye for performance, data, and process improvement. You'll combine strong organisational and people skills with a drive for excellence.

Essential Skills & Attributes

Desirable
  • NVQ in Engineering Manufacture / Advanced Modern Apprenticeship.
  • Management qualification.
  • GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C or above).
  • Computer literacy, ideally with formal training or certification.

Shift pattern

D Shift: Monday‑Thursday 7:30am‑4:00pm, Friday 7:30am‑12:30pm (other shifts may be required).
