CNC Machinist - Turning/Milling/Grinding

• Ensuring the smooth, efficient running of CNC machines
• Producing components that consistently meet strict quality standards
• Delivering work On Time In Full (OTIF)
• Carrying out self‑inspection and sanctioning of your own work
• Working across turning, milling and grinding operations (cell‑dependent)
• Supporting excellent workplace organisation and 5S standards
• Gaining full cross‑training across all cell disciplines
• Occasionally assisting with assembly, pinning or non‑machinery tasks

• Previous experience in CNC turning or milling or grinding
• Confident using standard measuring equipment
• Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• A reliable, team‑focused attitude with a commitment to quality
• Comfortable following procedures and working to targets

• NVQ in Engineering Manufacture (or equivalent) / Advanced Apprenticeship
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above)
• Computer literacy

• Mon‑Thu: 6:00am – 1:35pm
• Fri: 6:00am – 12:45pm

• Mon‑Thu: 1:25pm – 9:05pm
• Fri: 12:35pm – 7:00pm (20% shift premium)

Overtime available when required.
