Night Hygiene Operatives – Anwick
Pay rate: £16.26 per hour
Location: Main Street, Anwick, NG34 9SL
Employment type: Full-time, Permanent contract
Shift Patterns Available- A Shift: Sunday 18:00-02:00, Monday to Thursday 22:00-06:00
- B Shift: Tuesday–Friday 22:00-06:00, Saturday 18:00-02:00
- C Shift: Friday & Monday 20:00-06:00, Saturday & Sunday 17:00-03:00
- Deep clean factory areas and equipment, including production rooms, walls, floors, drains, work surfaces and high‑level areas to prevent contamination.
- Dismantle, clean and reassemble machines used in chicken processing, removing debris, sanitising parts and ensuring all equipment is safe for the next production shift.
- Operate industrial hoses and pressure washers to clean floors, conveyors, crates and machinery effectively.
- Safely climb ladders to clean overhead pipes, vents and hard‑to‑reach areas, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Use approved cleaning agents and disinfectants correctly and responsibly, following COSHH and safety procedures at all times.
- Help ensure the factory meets strict food hygiene regulations, preventing cross‑contamination and maintaining audit‑ready standards.
- Identify and promptly report damaged equipment, leaks, blocked drains or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Work efficiently to complete cleaning schedules on time so production can restart safely without delays.
- Wear appropriate PPE (protective clothing, gloves, boots, eye protection) and follow all company safety policies.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in an active role that involves standing, lifting, climbing ladders and working in wet environments.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to follow strict hygiene rules.
