CNC Machinist – Turning/Milling/Grinding

What You'll Be Doing as CNC Machinist:

Ensuring the smooth, efficient running of CNC machines
Producing components that consistently meet strict quality standards
Delivering work On Time In Full (OTIF)
Carrying out self-inspection and sanctioning of your own work
Working across turning, milling, and grinding operations (cell-dependent)
Supporting excellent workplace organisation and 5S standards
Gaining full cross-training across all cell disciplines
Occasionally assisting with assembly, pinning, or non-machinery tasks

What We're Looking for as CNC Machinist:
Essential:

Previous experience in CNC turning or milling or grinding
Confident using standard measuring equipment
Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
A reliable, team-focused attitude with a commitment to quality
Comfortable following procedures and working to targets

Desirable:

NVQ in Engineering Manufacture (or equivalent) / Advanced Apprenticeship
GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above)
Computer literacy

Shift Pattern:

A Shift:
Mon-Thu: 6:00am - 1:35pm
Fri: 6:00am - 12:45pm
B Shift:
Mon-Thu: 1:25pm - 9:05pm
Fri: 12:35pm - 7:00pm (20% shift premium)
Overtime available when required
