Warehouse Technician
Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire
Contract: Full-Time
Pay Rate: £18.54 per hour
OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands‑on Warehouse Technician to support seed production, processing and supply activities within a busy agricultural and research environment. This role offers a varied mix of warehouse, logistics, stock management and field‑based responsibilities, playing a key part in ensuring samples, stock and customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. The successful candidate will work across multiple operational activities, supporting both day‑to‑day production requirements and seasonal agricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities- Fulfil customer and internal orders, including label creation, bagging, seed treatment and booking collections.
- Record moisture levels, weights and stock data accurately, ensuring complete traceability.
- Handle sample taking, sample deliveries and maintain associated records.
- Manage stock movements, storage organisation and inventory records.
- Coordinate shipments and logistics for multiple order types.
- Operate drying, cleaning and processing equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Support certification sample collection and submission activities.
- Process stock movements, quality uploads and operational records within business systems.
- Assist with seasonal activities including harvesting and drilling operations.
- Previous experience within agriculture, seed production, warehousing, logistics or a related operational environment.
- Comfortable carrying out physical handling and stock management activities.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate record‑keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently whilst following established procedures.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence desirable.
- PA1 and PA11 certificates desirable.
- Experience operating agricultural machinery or tractors would be advantageous.
- Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems is beneficial.
