American Addiction Centers in North Kingstown is seeking a Recovery Support Counselor to assist patients through recovery by facilitating educational and support groups. The counselor will provide individualized support by adhering to the clinical design of the program and fostering a customer service atmosphere.
Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field, experience in substance use counseling, and crisis management skills. Full-time hours are from Sunday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
