Poly Technician

• Understand and follow all Safety Rules. Able to understand and use lockout systems.
• Actively participate in safety improvement activities
• Report safety and equipment incidents promptly using Toray's incident reporting system
• Perform quality checks/inspections of product (Contamination, product shape, and color)
• Assist team to maintain cleanliness and organization of plant and equipment per required standards (AIB)
• Handle product and materials using power equipment (pallet jacks, fork-lifts, Power lifter)
• Able to understand and comply with Quality and Environmental procedures and policies
• Conduct him/herself in a professional manner and maintain good attendance
• Assist team members with miscellaneous items such as sampling, checking equipment in the building and reporting information on a hand‑held radio, and maintaining equipment output

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Ability to push/pull 1500 lb. using a manual pallet jack
• Able to work 12 hour rotating work shift
• Able to work mandatory overtime
• Ability to stand for long periods of time 2 or 3 hours
• Ability to be respirator certified
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Comfortable with handling chemicals in small containers and drums

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic Computer Skills required – email, Toray intranet, Microsoft Office, equipment monitoring software
