Visionary Construction, Inc., d/b/a Visionary Services, is seeking dependable On-Call Mess Hall Attendants to support food service operations during scheduled National Guard drill weekends.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking consistent monthly work with the potential for additional shifts. Candidates must be reliable, professional, and able to work in a structured, military-supported environment.

• Once per month, aligned with National Guard drill weekends
• Typically Saturday and Sunday
• Additional opportunities may be available based on operational needs

• Dishwashing & Kitchen Support
  • Wash and rinse dishes, glassware, and silverware manually or using commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Sort and stack clean dishes
  • Set up and break down dishwashing areas
  • Remove trash and garbage to designated dumpsters
• Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Sweep and mop floors, ensuring surfaces remain dry and slip‑free
  • Clean kitchen equipment, ovens, furniture, and utensils
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining and serving areas
• Serving Line Support
  • Assist with serving line setup and breakdown
  • Replenish condiments, napkins, and food items
  • Report shortages or issues to the Team Lead immediately
• Safety & Compliance
  • Operate kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely
  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Follow slip and fall prevention procedures
  • Comply with all sanitation, safety, and emergency protocols
• Waste Disposal
  • Properly separate trash, food waste, and recyclables
  • Dispose of grease and oils per facility procedures
  • Never pour grease down drains
• Uniform & Appearance Requirements
  • Visionary‑issued uniform shirt required
  • Closed‑toe, sturdy footwear required
  • Hair restraints required
  • Clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
  • No jewelry or personal cell phone use while on duty

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation to and from worksite
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Prior food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must comply with client and site access requirements (Must pass background check and DBIBBS)
