Overview

The Home Depot is seeking Customer Service/Sales associates who provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. Associates learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project. They greet, qualify, recommend and close on customer needs, and may handle basics in adjacent departments.

• Greet customers, qualify needs, recommend products, and close sales within their department; learn to assist with adjacent departments as needed.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas; ensure the area is clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, and promptly reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
• Collaborate with the Department Supervisor and other associates across departments to support customers and store operations.
• Operate in departments that may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental.
• Job types in this area may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $20.00/hr
