As a Laborer/Groundman, you will develop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. • Be responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites with use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks
• Perform fiber blowing operations as directed, assisting in the installation of fiber optic cable in conduits using fiber-blowing equipment
• Conduct general labor on construction sites
• Conduct placement of conduit as directed by Foreman or Supervisor
• Be involved in map reading and directions
• Support with trench digging and closing
• Support with the movement of materials and vehicles as directed by Foreman or Supervisor
• Conduct maintenance services as directed by Foreman to include:
  Cleanup, Wash Vehicles, Landscaping
• Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment
• Be involved with vehicle and equipment operations from trucks to other equipment as directed and certified
• Tow various trailers with flatbed trucks
• Conduct Aerial/Underground work as needed and directed and as trained
• Troubleshoot RF and Fiber line and or equipment issues
• Construct and repair underground RF and Fiber service
• Learn how to read and construct from a design schematic of map
• Learn all inventory and equipment required for these projects
• As applicable, learn and be certified on the use of equipment:
  Line truck, Bucket truck, Cable Reel equipment, Saws and drills
• Climb poles with climbing equipment safely
• Move and relocate RF and Fiber service
• Be familiar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines

• Safety is a part of your day to day
• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands‑on approach to your work
• You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
• You have the ability and desire to learn and understand maps, drawings, diagrams, and other industry related knowledge for the project build process
• You have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
• You can lift and carry up to 70 lbs
• You have 1 year of practical working experience in construction, preferably in the telecom industry or similar
• You have 1 year working in full‑time, outdoor roles
• CDL preferred or ability to obtain it within 120 days
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high volume work environment

Compensation of $18-$23 per hour, based on experience.
