* We are looking for a motivated Control Systems Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the site's control, automation and instrumentation systems.

This is a hands-on role involving PLC fault finding, control system development, electrical documentation and continuous improvement, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Role Description

Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company policies.
Develop, maintain and improve control and instrumentation systems.
Provide technical support and PLC fault-finding expertise.
Maintain electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
Support new installations, machinery upgrades and improvement projects.
Identify and implement new technologies and continuous improvement opportunities.
Support manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, reliability and KPIs.

Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years' experience in a similar Control Systems/Controls role.
PLC experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi and/or Omron.
Knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation.
18th Edition (BS 7671:2018) qualification.
Manufacturing/industrial experience.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
