Lift Engineer

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Lift Service Engineer for our client based in Glasgow, covering the East coast of Scotland.

Role Overview :

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well-established and growing maintenance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring high standards of lift service, safety, and reliability across a varied client base. This position offers scope for progression, additional earning potential, and specialised offshore work with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

* Undertake lift maintenance, callouts, and minor repairs across a designated service area.

* Manage and maintain service routes including documentation and route paperwork transmission.

* Complete insurance report items and SAFed testing requirements.

* Participate in a 24/7 callout rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks).

* Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Skills & Experience:

* NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering.

* Minimum 3 years’ experience within the lift industry.

* Strong knowledge of both traction and hydraulic lift systems.

* Excellent IT literacy and familiarity with digital service processes.

* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

* Full valid UK driving licence.

* Must be willing to undergo a PVG check

* Basic salary up to £44k per annum

* Additional pay for on-call and Off Shore work
