Massage Therapist

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team.

Location:

Nellis AFB, NV.

The Massage Therapist (MT) must possess and maintain an active, current, and unrestricted license or certification from the US jurisdiction where the service is to be provided. MTs provide prehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions in fighter aircrew. As part of a prehabilitation program, the MT shall evaluate and provide massage therapy to fighter aircrew personnel. Prehabilitation strengthens the core musculoskeletal system to enhance resistance to neck and back injury.

Healthy lifestyle education is addressed as part of an overall health maintenance program to enhance injury resistance. This massage therapy focuses on neck and back pain to improve overall quality of life for fighter aircrew.

• MT will have graduated from an MT certification program. The MT will maintain a license or certification from the state in which the service is to be provided.
• MT must have experience working with professional and/or collegiate athletes, or equivalent.
• Possess current certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to include Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
• Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation).
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain Secret security clearance.

• Possess oral and written communication skills in order to meaningfully interact with peers, outside agencies, vendors and Military Health System (MHS) stakeholders to provide briefings, presentations, research, and develop metrics to demonstrate or advance effective and efficient neck and back pain prevention.
