Overview

Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor - Nevada (#1315)

• Provide surveyor services for CMS/Medicare/Medicaid accreditation and certification in long-term care facilities, with nationwide support.
• Apply CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) as part of the survey process.
• Demonstrate independent decision-making to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
• Set priorities independently and collaboratively when performing survey tasks.
• Openly discuss conflicts and seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics.
• Must have completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the SMQT.
• Must have at least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities serving residents of long-term care facilities.
• Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required.
