The Opportunity:
As an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), you will be responsible for managing teams in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information assurance and cybersecurity solutions. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in network and system security, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple cybersecurity functions. The ISSE oversees the deployment of security tools, conducts comprehensive security assessments and audits, and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
You’ll Work On
Lead cross-functional teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance of information assurance infrastructure, applying strong leadership and advanced knowledge of network and system security.
Direct the deployment and integration of cybersecurity tools and technologies, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution of security issues.
Communicate clearly across multiple cybersecurity functions to drive operational excellence.
Oversee and execute comprehensive information assurance assessments and audits, leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills to identify vulnerabilities and recommend actionable improvements.
- 7+ years of experience leading teams in information security or systems engineering
- Experience with IT security and information assurance technologies
- Experience with program management and managing projects
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Knowledge of network and system security, emerging technologies, operating systems, and security best practices
- Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Security, or Cybersecurity
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certification
- Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to address security incidents, vulnerabilities, and complex cybersecurity program challenges
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.
