Cook (Cocinero)
Directly supports the Executive Chef, Asst. Executive Chef, Room Chef and Asst. Room Chef. The cook ensures that the kitchen and equipment are in good working order, maintains cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards. Supports Chefs in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, steaming all meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, etc. Maintains cleanliness of area and keeps cold items stocked. Ensures kitchen area and equipment are in good working order.
Responsibilities(English)
- Support the Executive Chef, Asst. Executive Chef, Room Chef and Asst. Room Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and on equipment.
- Assist with cooking activities including frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, and steaming of meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, etc.
- Keep work area clean and organized; ensure cold items are stocked and properly stored.
- Ensure kitchen area and equipment are in good working order.
Qualifications (English)
- Minimum of one to two years Cook experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards, demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.
