Maintenance Mechanic​/Tech - C

Overview

Maintenance Technician C – Transdev in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a C-Level Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. This role supports safety, efficiency, and longevity of our vehicle fleet.

• CBA Position:
  Position subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Pay range: $29.65 – $43.38 (Union Payscale); starting pay $29.65 with progression to $43.38 over 4 years

• Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement

• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance Inspections
• Perform repairs on CNG/Diesel buses
• Other duties as required

• Two (2) years of relevant experience preferred; experienced automotive technicians are encouraged to apply
• Mechanic’s Tool Set
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs

• Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity conditions (100% of the job performed outside); work alone and in remote locations
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on uneven surfaces
• Push/pull objects; lift up to 50 lbs; occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching to access equipment
• Withstand exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise
