Maintenance Mechanic​/Tech - C

Transdev in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a C-Level Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Base pay range: $29.65/hr - $43.38/hr starting pay: $29.65 with progression to $43.38 over 4 years.

• Vacation: up to 1 week per year

• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance Inspections.
• Perform repairs on CNG/Diesel buses.
• Other duties as required.

• Two (2) years of relevant experience preferred; experienced automotive technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Mechanic’s Tool Set.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions. Work at least 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces. Push and pull objects up to XX pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs.

With or without assistance. Occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level. Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties. Tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
