Transdev in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking an experienced A‑Level Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines across various vehicles and equipment. The technician will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our fleet.

- Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on engines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
- Other duties as required.
- ASE certifications required; must have 5 current ASE certifications.
- 2 years of relevant experience preferred; experienced light vehicle technicians with automotive or van backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Must possess a comprehensive mechanic’s tool set.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
- Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity; 100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to storage areas.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
