Technician - Level 1

We are hiring a Technician – Level 1 with Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. Join our team to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment while ensuring safety and minimizing downtime.

Technician 1

• Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.
• Collaborate with an experienced team in a safety‑focused environment.
• Maintain accurate work logs and adhere to maintenance schedules.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment such as generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location.

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 lbs or more. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors as required.
