Bus Driver/Operator - Fixed Route

Transdev North America is seeking a highly motivated Bus Driver/Operator to join our dedicated team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate is passionate about safety, committed to providing excellent passenger service, and ready to keep our routes running smoothly.

• Operate assigned fixed‑route buses safely, following schedules, routes, and all traffic regulations.
• Assist passengers, ensuring convenient boarding, comfortable rides, and timely drop‑off.
• Perform comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Enforce company policies—including seat‑belt enforcement, emergency response preparation, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and air‑brake endorsements.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Salary: $21.85 – $32.35 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale). Starting pay: $21.85, progressing to $32.35 over 8 years.
• Vacation: up to 1 week per year.
• Paid Time Off: 8 hrs monthly for full‑time employees.

• Work flexible shift schedule as needed.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lb with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
