Working pattern will include 8am start and 6.30pm finish times.
The ability to be flexible, with excellent written and communication skills are essential and candidates will be required to assist with covering absence /holiday cover if necessary.
You must becalm, patient, empathetic, computer literate and efficient with the ability towork under pressure. Excellent team playing and multi-tasking skills are essential.
Main duties of the jobTobe responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to patients and practice staff. Duties can include but are not limited to supporting the administration and receptionist teams with patient registration,booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in atimely manner and in accordance with current policies. Support staff with the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.

Person Specification Experience- Experience of working within General Practice
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Competent in the use of Office and Outlook
- Effective time management (Planning & Organising)
- Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
- Good interpersonal skills
- Problem solving & analytical skills
- Ability to follow policy and procedure
