Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor | Civil Engineering | Infrastructure | Heavy Civils Brigg £55,000 - £65,000  Package NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure and heavy civils projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, drainage, earthworks or utilities to join a busy commercial team with long-term project work and genuine progression opportunities.

The Role
• Commercial management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
• Managing subcontractor accounts, variations and payments
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting
• Identifying and managing commercial risks
• Supporting operational teams with commercial guidance
• Managing change control and contractual matters
• Producing commercial reports for senior management
• Working closely with project delivery and site teams throughout the project lifecycle The Candidate
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering
• Strong background in heavy civils or infrastructure projects
• Experience across highways, drainage, earthworks, utilities or RC structures preferred
• Good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full UK Driving Licence The Opportunity
