Class 2 Driver / Surface Preparation Operative

The Best Connection are looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver / Surface Preparation Operative to safely deliver plant and materials while supporting surface preparation work on-site.

💰 Pay Rates

£18.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
⏱️ Minimum 10 hours paid per shift
🕒 Weekend overtime paid at time and a half

🔧 Key Responsibilities

🚚 Operate a Class 2 vehicle and hook loader to transport plant and machinery
✅ Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow road safety regulations
🧹 Assist with site preparation, including cleaning and setup
📦 Load/unload equipment and support the site team

✅ Requirements

🪪 Valid Class 2 (Category

C) licence, CPC, and digital tachograph
🛣️ Commercial driving experience (surfacing preferred)
🛠️ Ability to use plant/tools (bobcat sweeper desirable)
🔄 Flexible, organised, and physically fit with good communication skills
