BE/BCSeeking a Geriatrician to join the Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residencies, part of the educational consortium teaching programs

This is a full-time academic geriatrician clinician and faculty teacher position. Wonderful opportunity for either a seasoned or newly graduated IM or FM Geriatrician who loves clinical care, teaching and has an interest in leadership, program development and scholarship

Position involves providing clinical care to a medically complex, vulnerable aging patient population and the teaching of residents on the beautiful community-based, tertiary-care campus Clinical/teaching venues of this position are housed in a new on-campus clinical specialties building and off-campus in two nearby Long-term care facilities.

Opportunities available for physician candidates include leadership positions, e.g., facility medical director and participation in scholarship, e.g., research, QI with Lean Six Sigma certification, and didactic teaching
