Summary ofJob Duties
The University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a full‑time, 11‑month position as an Instructor of Nursing. The instructor will teach students in both classroom and clinical settings, and must be committed to teaching in a dynamic community college environment and interacting with an academically and culturally diverse campus.
Responsibilities- Contribute to decision‑making on policies and problem solving.
- Participate in communication between all constituents/affiliates, both internal and external.
- Maintain an active, unencumbered registered nursing license for the state of Arkansas.
- Teach theory or clinical courses in morning, evening, or weekend schedules.
- Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Use Microsoft Office proficiently.
- Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently toward course objectives.
- Work effectively as a team member.
- Manage classroom, order textbooks and classroom supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN).
- Two years of nursing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- One year of nursing education experience.
