Plant Operator - NLR

Job Overview

The Plant Operator is responsible for the maintenance of all plant equipment and grounds, along with the operation of quality control procedures for the material.

• Running samples of material and maintaining records for the purpose of quality control
• Maintenance of conveyor systems and other plant equipment
• Mowing and weed-eating of plant property
• Painting plant equipment and buildings
• Assisting with any other operations as needed

• Ability to work during severe conditions, including inclement weather
• Ability to work 11 or more hours per day
• Ability to work Saturdays when required
• Ability and willingness to do manual labor, including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds
