Caterpillar is seeking a Maintenance Manager in North Little Rock, AR. In this role, you will provide knowledge and guidance to maintenance technicians on installation, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of process equipment. Ensure technicians understand procedures for periodic preventative maintenance.

What you can look forward to in this role:
  • Direct 2nd shift Preventative Maintenance completion and repair/breakdown management
  • Knowledgeable in SAP systems
  • Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems
  • Conducts routine inspections; checks machine performance and equipment safeguards; reports standards violations
  • Deals effectively with customers and vendor support staff to resolve routine problems
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing repair work shift pass-down
  • Responsible for coordinating 2nd shift repair parts inventory consuming and re-order/re-stock
  • Creating work plans for staff and contractors, reviewing the maintenance work performed by technicians.
  • Oversee the purchasing decisions and recommendations regarding equipment and tools, training the workers periodically on various maintenance processes and techniques.
  • Leads a team and coaches and mentors the team to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.
A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:
  • Effective Communications:
    Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Performance Management:
    Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization’s performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
  • Planning and Organizing:
    Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
  • Project Management:
    Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Top Candidates for this position may also have:
  • Previous building management experience as well as experience using SAP systems
  • A minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience
  • Previous facility general maintenance such as, electrical, plumbing, crane maintenance, etc.
  • Lean / Kaizen experience preferred
  • Microsoft Project Management experience
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $
