After Hour Animal Hospital located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is currently seeking a part-time ER Veterinarian to join our team.

OUR PRACTICE

At After Hour Animal Hospital, we offer emergency care services for dogs and cats in the Central Arkansas area.

We are a full-service veterinary emergency facility, stocked, staffed, and equipped for your family pet’s unexpected illness or injury. Our in-house lab provides rapid blood results and complements our state-of-the-art imaging including digital radiology, ultrasound, and endoscopy. We stock emergency drugs such as snake antivenom as well as blood and plasma transfusion products. After Hour Animal Hospital is the only ER in central Arkansas open nights, weekends, and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build relationships with colleagues, clients, and support staff to ensure a compassionate and collaborative work environment.
  • Foster a learning environment for colleagues, support staff, and veterinary students.
  • Triage and develop treatment plans for emergency patients.
  • Continue care for hospitalized specialty patients overnight and on weekends.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
  • Provide clear communication to clients and support staff.
  • Communicate with referral partners via verbal and written referral letters.
  • Participate in morning rounds with specialists on hospitalized patients.
  • Support a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Support the hospital's Fear-Free initiative and commitment.
