After Hour Animal Hospital, located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is currently seeking a full-time ER Veterinarian to join our team.

Compensation: Up to $200K plus production, with a generous sign-on bonus and reimbursement for relocation expenses if applicable.

OUR PRACTICE

At After Hour Animal Hospital, we provide emergency care services for dogs and cats in the Central Arkansas area. We are a full-service veterinary emergency facility equipped for unexpected illnesses or injuries, featuring an in-house lab for rapid blood results, state-of-the-art imaging including digital radiology, ultrasound, and endoscopy. We stock emergency drugs such as snake antivenom, blood, and plasma transfusion products.

We are the only ER in central Arkansas open nights, weekends, and holidays.

Little Rock offers abundant parks and green spaces with trails for hiking, walking, and biking, along with river views. The area boasts diverse cuisine including Indian, Latin American, and American dishes, along with renowned cheese dips and barbeque.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build relationships with colleagues, clients, and support staff to foster a compassionate and collaborative environment.
  • Encourage a learning environment for colleagues, support staff, and veterinary students.
  • Triaging and developing treatment plans for emergency patients.
  • Providing ongoing care for hospitalized patients overnight and on weekends.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Communicating clearly with clients and support staff.
  • Coordinating with referral partners through verbal communication and referral letters.
  • Participating in morning rounds with specialists.
  • Supporting a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Supporting the hospital's Fear-Free initiative and commitment.
