Job Type: Full-time/hourly

Total Compensation: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour

• We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an HVAC helper. The responsibilities of the HVAC helper include performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, repairing machinery, and furnishing the HVAC technicians with tools, materials, and supplies. To be successful in the HVAC field, you should have a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems as well as the tools related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems.
  
  Ultimately, a top-notch HVAC helper should be able to effectively follow instructions and have the eagerness and willingness to learn.

• The responsibilities of the HVAC helper include performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, repairing machinery, and furnishing the HVAC technicians with tools, materials, and supplies.
• Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing roof units for heating and air conditioning as well as the units inside residential and commercial buildings.
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation and repairs.
• Cleaning and replacing air ducts.
• Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing plumbing and electrical systems.
• Coordinating with team members to provide excellent customer service.
• Assisting HVAC Technicians in ensuring all HVAC systems remain compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Demonstrates and promotes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the company.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, and safety practices.

• Lifts 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl under houses and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Completes work orders, task lists, and documents to verify work performed.
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• This is a “safety-sensitive” position.
• Regular attendance is required.
