Electrical Apprentice

Job Type: Full-time

• Working safely is our company’s number one business objective. Each employee is expected to work safely and actively contribute to the safety of others by following company policies, OSHA requirements, and NFPA 70E best practices, including proper PPE, lockout/tagout, and hazard recognition.
• Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment, devices, and fixtures
• Install and support various types of raceway, conduit, and cable tray systems (including basic conduit bending)
• Support rough-in, wire pulling, terminations, and device make-up under the direction of a Journeyman/Master
• Follow plans, one-lines, and job specs; maintain clean, code-compliant work with a focus on quality
• Work in accordance with Federal, State, Local, and NEC requirements; complete required documentation accurately
• This is a “safety sensitive” position
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must be able to operate and maneuver company vehicles safely, follow all applicable traffic laws and company driving policies, and report incidents promptly to help avoid preventable accidents.
• Ability to work overtime as needed; occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
• Strong verbal communication skills; able to work professionally with customers, vendors, and teammates
• Customer-service mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to handle physical workload and work at heights, in tight spaces, and in varied environments
• Ability to work well in teams and take direction while developing independent work habits
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain dependable jobsite productivity
• Familiarity with hand and power tools; ability to safely use ladders, lifts, and basic jobsite equipment
• Basic electrical knowledge (preferred): conduit/raceway, grounding/bonding, and safe use of a digital multimeter
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for timekeeping, work orders, photos, and basic digital documentation
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be enrolled or willing to enroll and attend an approved apprenticeship program

This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.

Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Competitive pay (based on experience and apprenticeship progression).
• This position will be eligible for overtime, which is paid on hours worked over 40 hours per workweek (Sunday 12:00 AM through Saturday 12:00 AM), in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• 75% of the employee’s Health Insurance paid by employer.
