Material Movements Specialist II; MMSII; Distribution Center; 1st shift

Position Overview

Location:

North Little Rock, AR
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Friday)

• Operate a forklift or other powered material handling equipment to move and stock merchandise in the Distribution Center.
• Perform order fulfillment duties: review and prioritize available orders, determine stock requirements, maintain required inventory levels.
• Physically pick in full cases, pack orders in ALPS, replenish, stock, audit and verify picked orders, prepare completed orders for shipping using SAP and RF scanner.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion; inspect and perform minor maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report quality variances.
• Unload inbound shipments safely, move product to storage locations, efficiently stack and store merchandise.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Perform sortation duties including lifting cartons, palletizing cartons, printing pallet tickets.
• Support and abide by the company’s safety program and all safety initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Assist in physical inventories, cycle counting, real-time inventory system.
• Coordinate with all other departments/functions as necessary.

• Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
• High School education or GED equivalency.
• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.
• Must meet OSHA and company requirements for mechanical handling training and certification.
• Familiarity with MHE is required.
• Obtain L’Oréal forklift certification.
• Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bend, twist, stand for up to 10 hours per day.

• Must wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
