Order Selector
Pay Rate/Range: $19.50
Hours: 5pm to completion Sun - Thurs

Duration: 3 months

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Order Selector to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of product selection experience and 6 months of food distribution experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment involving multiple temperature zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate electric pallet jack or forklift to select products from racking.

• Accurately hand-select products based on customer orders across Dry, Cooler, and Freezer warehouse environments.

• Use RF scanner to generate and apply product labels.

• Stack products on pallets according to proper procedures (e.g., labels facing out, heavy items on the bottom).

• Stage and wrap pallets at designated dock areas for shipping.

• Perform pre- and post-inspections of all equipment.

• Maintain safe operation of all assigned equipment, including PPE.

• Work until all orders are completed, which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of order selection experience required.

• Minimum 6 months of food distribution experience required.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to work in fluctuating warehouse temperatures, including freezer environments.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.

• Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and move rapidly for extended periods.

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed production standards and error rate goals.

• Knowledge of inventory control and product placement practices.
