Position Overview

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a mid-level Technician to join our satellite assembly, integration, and test team. At SDL, we take pride in and highly value our employees. The Strategic & Military Space Division delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. • Performs mechanical integration and test activities
• Interfaces with other disciplines (QA, machine shop, contamination control, etc.) to deliver spaceflight hardware on schedule
• Occasional evening and weekend shifts when required by testing

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to see projects through from start to finish
• Self‑motivated, dependable, and detail oriented
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to identify and work through problems that may arise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with other team members for completion of required tasks
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance

• Applicable higher education or technical training
• Assembly and test of small, intricate mechanical assemblies
• Ability to support electrical integration and test activities as needed
• Experience working in a cleanroom or with minimizing contamination during assembly
• Experience with environmental testing including TVAC and vibration testing
• Implementation of quality processes

$38,500 - $69,500. Salary commensurate based on education and relevant experience.
