Join to apply for the Calibration Technician role at MKS Inc.
As a Calibration Technician at MKS-Ophir, you will partner with our Calibration Department to calibrate laser measurement sensors and meters. In this role, you will report to the Calibration Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Document calibration results, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all calibration activities for audit and compliance purposes
- Regularly inspect, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment to detect and correct any deviations from standard performance
- Ensure all calibration activities meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and company policies
- Keep calibration tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained
- Associate degree, military technical training, equivalent vocational training or work experience
- 0-1 year of related experience
- Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required
- Experience in testing digital and/or analog systems helpful
- Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
- Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time
- Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level
