CNC Operator - 3rd Shift

Join ZF’s North Mankato team as a CNC Operator on the 3rd shift. This role is part of the Machine Shop Team, where you’ll manufacture hydraulic and electrohydraulic components for off‑highway machines.

About the Team

The ZF Off‑Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off‑highway machines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate machining centers, turning centers, or hand operation centers per written instructions.
• Read and operate inspection equipment to ensure production of a quality product.
• Monitor quality per ISO work instructions.
• Perform adjustments and tool changes as required to maintain part quality.
• Pack parts properly to prevent damage.
• Perform necessary daily equipment inspection and maintenance.
• Complete daily cycle counting in accordance with established procedures.

Your Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Machinist Technical Degree/Certification or 2–4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly.
• Ability to operate a computer and other electronic equipment.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence, and effectively communicate with others within the organization.
• Experience with ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite (desired).

Compensation

The expected base compensation for this role is $22.00 – $29.00 per hour. Additional shift pay applies to this position.
