Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Stator Winder workers for a manufacturing company in North Mankato, MN. In this role, you'll help build and assemble motors and generators by insulating, winding, and connecting stators according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on manufacturing work, working with tools, and being part of a skilled production team.
What You'll Do as a Stator Winder- 1st Shift- Insulate, wind, and hook up stators for motors and generators following specifications and procedures
- Use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Perform coil winding and insulation‑related operations
- Follow soldering procedures and machine setup requirements
- Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
- Move materials within the department using a forklift if licensed and certified
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the same salary grade or below
- High school diploma, vocational diploma, or equivalent required
- Ability to learn coil winding techniques, insulation methods, soldering procedures, and machine setup operations
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to obtain forklift certification if desired and approved by the company
