Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Stator Winder/Hookup workers for a motor and generator manufacturing company in North Mankato, MN. In this role, you'll help build and assemble quality motors and generators while working with a skilled production team. If you enjoy hands-on manufacturing work and developing specialized technical skills, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do as a Stator Winder/Hookup:- Insulate, wind, and hook up stators for motors and generators
- Follow specifications, methods, and procedures to ensure quality production
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly and winding tasks
- Perform machine setup and assist with coil winding operations
- Complete soldering and insulation work according to established procedures
- Move materials within the department using a forklift when certified and authorized
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor within the same salary grade or below
- High school diploma, vocational diploma, or equivalent required
- Ability to learn coil winding techniques, machine setup, insulation, and soldering procedures through on-the-job training
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow detailed specifications and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
