Job Summary

The seasonal Parking Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to patrons using parking facilities. This position involves assisting customers with inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues related to parking services. The representative serves as a frontline of the parking operation, ensuring positive interactions and a seamless parking experience. This is a seasonal position ending around October 31, 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Assistance: Greet customers, assist with inquiries about parking rates, regulations, and directions, and help with parking equipment like ticket dispensers and payment kiosks.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints courteously, resolve issues promptly, handle escalations tactfully, and document feedback for service improvements.
  • Payment Processing: Collect fees, issue receipts, process credit card and cash transactions, and reconcile cash drawers.
  • Information Provision: Share details about parking availability, events, shuttle services, and distribute informational materials.
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively enhance customer experience, solicit feedback, and build rapport with repeat patrons.

  • Pay Rate: $14.00/hour
  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm;
    No weekends
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service training preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with payment systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions

Work is typically in parking facilities, involving outdoor exposure, standing or sitting for extended periods, and occasional lifting.
