Summary of Position

The Dishwasher at Crooked Hammock Brewery is responsible for washing & cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. This person will execute daily maintenance and deep cleaning of facilities, focused on keeping the dishroom & equipment clean and organized. Must Enjoy the Ride!

• Opening and midday maintenance of facilities including cleaning & stocking all restrooms, sweeping & mopping floors, and maintaining clean outdoor areas
• Complete opening and closing procedures
• Load, run and unload dish machine
• Set-up three bay sink with detergent, rinse, and sanitizer
• Stock all necessary cleaning products
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware is appropriate location
• Maintain all dish and food service equipment storage areas
• Keep dish washing area clean and organized
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designated times
• Assist with trash removal from other kitchen and FOH areas
• Assist with food prep when needed
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies in all areas
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
• Clock in and out at scheduled time. Make Management aware of any deviation from schedule
• Live the brand & be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the business at all times

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals
