Assisting Hands Home Care of Davis & Weber County is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. This unique role blends hands-on caregiving with leadership responsibilities including caregiver training, mentoring, and evaluations.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience mentoring or training caregivers a plus
• Dependable, organized, able to work independently

• Conduct caregiver skills evaluations
• Lead training sessions (one-on-one & group)
• Provide shadowing support for new hires
• Monitor care quality and give feedback
• Support caregiver performance concerns and solutions
• Provide occasional after-hours or weekend caregiver support

• Assist clients with personal care (hygiene, mobility, dressing, meals, toileting)
• Support ambulation, transfers, and prescribed exercises
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Document care activities accurately
• Maintain a safe, healthy home environment for clients

• Flexible part-time schedule (caregiving shifts + training duties)
• Evening & weekend availability preferred
• Hourly, non-exempt position
