Serpentini Chevrolet – Southern Ohio has an opening for a LOT PORTER / DETAILER. The role involves vehicle maintenance, detailing, and lot organization to ensure a professional dealership appearance.

USD $16.00/hr – $17.00/hr

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, jumping dead batteries, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Clean and refurbish vehicles to the highest standards, including interior and exterior detailing, waxing, polishing, and buffing in a quick and efficient manner.
• Ensure all vehicles are inspected for damage, stains, or other issues and report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep the lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the Used Car Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, auto auctions, and parking lot as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the detailing area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Keep an inventory of detailing supplies and notify management when supplies need to be ordered.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure all vehicles are completed within a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and management.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Be on time and be professional.

• Able to work a full‑time schedule, including weekends.
• Positive attitude, can‑do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, and eagerness to improve.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best‑in‑class customer service.
• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred.
