** About Our Internship Program:
** Throughout your internship, you will have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions, and receive customized training from our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into supporting the needs of Stanley Black & Decker both in the US and abroad. The interns will gain first-hand exposure to Stanley Black & Decker and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network.

Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and collaborative.
** The Job:
** During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support
** Industrial Designers
** with key activities including:
* Assist in developing adaptable parametric surface models for new products using CATIA.
* Support the team in utilizing data reuse techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Learn and follow 3D modeling best practices.
* Help manage 3D CAD data using a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
* Contribute to multiple projects, providing support as needed.
* Help ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.

** intern candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
* Familiarity with 3D CAD systems and an interest in surface creation (experience with CATIA is a plus; training will be provided).
* Strong aesthetic sense and ability to translate 2D sketches into 3D models.
* Basic understanding of design for manufacturing.
* Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude and good time management.
* Ability to work well within a team and balance multiple priorities.
