Park Assistant Manager – Kids Empire

Objective

Oversee daily park operations, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. Responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing procedures, and maintaining high standards of customer service while managing guest satisfaction and incident resolution.

Essential Job Functions
  • Attend to guests promptly, greeting them and fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Supervise employees to ensure satisfactory performance and achievement of production goals.
  • Assist the Park Manager with training, development, and auditing.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
  • Audit schedules and secure required approvals from the Park Manager.
  • Open and close the park using keys or a code.
  • Communicate guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
  • Manage the check‑in process, including signing liability waivers and collecting guest information via iPad.
  • Operate the front cash counter, handling payments, registering transactions, and providing accurate change.
  • Process billing transactions accurately and verify amounts on the POS.
  • Organize refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
  • Monitor snack inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Walk the floor regularly to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with park rules.
  • Clean restrooms and sanitize all park structures, tables, chairs, and playground equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate family events, assisting in efficient event operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
  • Perform frequent bilateral hand movements.
  • Maintain good finger dexterity.
  • Work in noisy environments with children and music.
  • Tolerate hectic and busy work conditions during peak hours.
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable working with children.
  • Experience operating an iPad.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Decision‑making capability in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Prioritization of guest satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
  • Commitment to safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
