The Director, Global Product Compliance & Lab Services is responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure all products meet specified certifications and fully comply with regional legal requirements. This role also oversees all testing and prototyping laboratories to maintain the necessary infrastructure, capacity, and capability for accurate and efficient testing.

• Develop and align on objectives, goals, and strategies to establish Centers of Excellence for Product Compliance & Lab Services.
• Partner with Strategic Business Units and Operations to identify and execute key Product Compliance & Lab Services strategies and tactics, and define required capabilities.
• Accountable for the execution of the Product Compliance & Lab Services teams, ensuring aggressive timing, performance, cost, and quality objectives are met; provide regular updates to leadership.
• Establish and manage global Product Compliance and Lab Services budgets.
• Attract, develop, and retain product compliance talent needed to execute product development strategies.
• Lead major change management initiatives, process, system, and organizational improvements, and develop standard work for the teams.
• Develop and implement world-class testing and prototyping standards, systems, and programs.
• Provide governance to Engineering Project Teams within the product growth engine process.
• Develop subject matter expertise of product standards, codes, and regional legal requirements globally.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in design and development of consumer durable products, with exposure to commercial and operations aspects; global business environments preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Compliance, Test Lab Supervision, and/or Product Development Engineering.
• Proven partner of senior leaders with ability to influence strategic direction.
• Effective change management and complex organizational project management skills; matrixed environment experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success assessing and managing risk in complex and ambiguous situations.

Hiring Pay Range: $120,000 – $192,500. Base salary plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.
